Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to effectively diagnose and resolve issues.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Supervise and lead small teams during larger repair projects or renovations.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for structural repairs or modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively in English with team members and management regarding project status and needs.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment relevant to general repairs.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings for electrical systems.
- Experience with logic controllers is a plus.
- Leadership skills to manage projects and supervise team members effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality workmanship.
