What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at La Quinta Inns & Suites?
Maintain hotel public areas and guest rooms. Follow and maintain preventative maintenance schedules. Daily inspection of hotel interior, exterior and grounds; Perform basic building repairs and paint touch-ups as needed. Experience with various hand and power tools preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. Sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling for extended periods of time. Some moderate lifting may be required. Good manual dexterity to assist with maintenance if needed. May be subject to periods of excessive heat and cold when working outside. Uniforms, on-the-job training provided.
