Desired Wage : Starting $17.50 / hr
Job Description :
To assist the Sustainability Studies Program Project (SSP) Director and Director of Outreach with day-to-day administrative responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responding to emails.
Creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
Printing, copying, and producing marketing materials for program outreach.
Attending SSP events to help set up, interact with students and the public, and help clean up after events end.
Assistance with website updates
Assistance with content creation and editing of SSP newsletter
Content creation on Canva
Assistance with student recycling projects, collecting and sorting
Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION : Must currently be a student at La Sierra University.
EXPERIENCE : Non-required as site training is standard procedure.
SKILLS : Accuracy and ability to work independently, in groups, and in teams.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS : Light to moderate, including lifting, bending, and kneeling.
HOURS : Flexible Part time. (10 hours per week)
PERIOD OF AGREEMENT : Winter quarter with the possibility of extension to following quarters and quarterly wage increases.
