We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and utilizing data analysis tools to drive efficiency in our operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products are available to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favorable pricing and delivery schedules.
- Oversee the e-commerce inventory process, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels across platforms.
- Utilize systems such as Power BI and Nielsen for data analysis to inform inventory decisions.
- Coordinate materials handling processes to ensure efficient flow of goods within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan for seasonal fluctuations.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in inventory management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of supplier management and sourcing techniques.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their inventory requirements.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools, particularly Power BI and Nielsen for reporting purposes.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms with suppliers.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of materials handling best practices is a plus.
