YOU: We are looking for a Reservations Manager who will oversee the hotel’s reservations process, including guestrooms, restaurants, and spa for our 115 room Iconic Luxury Boutique Hotel. The Reservations Manager will aid with implementing the revenue and rate strategy to be aligned with the hotel’s group, sales, and marketing plan and provide day-to-day guidance, coaching and training to the Reservation Agents. Ideal candidates are highly motivated and effective at working in a fast-paced team environment and have a passion for hospitality.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Collaborate with General Manager, Director of Rooms, and Director of Catering to maximize guestroom revenues.
- Monitor and ensure that the Reservations Agents always perform their job functions to the highest standard.
- Evaluate the staffing requirements and prepare work schedules weekly, adhering to budget goals.
- Ensure that the Reservation phone lines are always attended.
- Ensure that sufficient staffing is present to meet the daily business demands.
- Coach and mentor Reservation team; provide and facilitate ongoing departmental training opportunities for all Reservations Agents.
- Attend Daily Standup; communicate anticipated business demands daily with the Reservations Agents.
- Coordinate all group reservation requests and needs; communicate effectively with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Front Office team in determining the percentage for overbooking.
- Advise the hotel staff of the forecasted occupancy and any changes in that occupancy.
- In partnership with the strategy team execute daily weekly and monthly 30-60-90 day forecast and annual budget.
- Contribute to daily weekly and monthly 30-60-90 day forecast and annual budget processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2-3 years previous hospitality supervisory/management experience within a high-volume setting.
- Strong guest service foundation, ability to coach, build a team, problem solve, and leadership skills required.
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with computers (Microsoft Products), and PMS system.
- Opera knowledge a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
