JOB DESCRIPITION: We are looking for an energetic person who would love to support the food and beverage department in The Med. We are looking for a server with excellent serving skills and a great personality to elevate our high-end restaurant. We are looking to bring on someone who shares our passion for hospitality and creating exceptional and memorable experiences. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Greet/and or seat all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner.
• Ensure guests receive any items requested or needed to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Ensures that refills water, serves bread and restocks glassware and plates.
• Removes plates and silverware when all guests have finished.
• Ask all guests how their stay was the night before and resolve any complaints on the spot.
• Prepare food and beverages for service to hotel guests and present food according to established health and presentation standards.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Stay customer-focused and nurture an excellent customer experience.
• Always keep the bar counter and work area neat and clean.
• Perform side-work, and any other opening or closing duties are required.
• Ensure that wait staff stations are cleaned and maintained throughout shift.
• Notify supervisor of supplies that are needed.
• Ensure the environment (i.e., lighting, music, settings, etc.) are appropriate to a successful meal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate
• Must have a valid Responsible Beverage Server Certificate

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to frequently stand up or move with and outside of the hotel facility
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk and move about the facility for extensive period of times, bending, stooping and kneeling
