Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at La Villa Grande Care Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our residents, including assessment, treatment, and consultation with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each resident
- Provides direct patient care, including evaluations, treatments, and education
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program
- Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- At least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide
- Ability to remain calm in emergency or crisis situations
- Knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of the population age groups that will be receiving services
