The La Villa Grande Care Center is seeking an experienced Staff Development Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and manage employee education and training programs.
This role includes addressing the needs for orientation and ongoing education while overseeing infection prevention and control measures.
- Develops specific teaching plans and programs to cover training needs for all roles on a regular basis.
- Works with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care is held to the highest standard and all facility policies and procedures are carried out by every staff member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learns needs and designs in-service and continuing ed programs based on quality assurance data to meet needs and regulatory guidelines.
- Develops, implements, communicates, and evaluates annual training plan.
Qualifications:
- Must hold current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred but not required. Background/training in infection control is preferred.
- Current CPR certificate desired.
