The Staff Development Coordinator plays a vital role in planning, coordinating, and managing orientation and in-service education for staff members within our senior living community. Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements comprehensive training plans based on quality assurance data and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates with the Director of Nursing to ensure that facility policies and procedures are upheld by all staff members.
- Designs and delivers in-service and continuing education programs to meet the training needs of all roles within the organization.
- Maintains accurate records of training and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- A current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse is required.
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred but not necessary.
- Background or training in infection control is advantageous, although not mandatory.
