Job Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to carry out treatment plans. This includes conducting therapy practice within defined standards of care, directing the assistance of support staff to achieve patients' functional goals, and communicating effectively with other professional and support staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or related field.
- At least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide.
- Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
