LA28 is seeking a strategic and results-driven HR Business Partner to provide comprehensive HR support and leadership coaching to business leaders. This role will focus on aligning HR strategies with business objectives while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.
As an HRBP, you will serve as a strategic advisor to your business functions, acting as a change agent, HR ambassador, and subject matter expert. You will lead HR initiatives, drive talent strategies, and provide coaching.

This role will report to the Director of People Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders, providing strategic guidance on workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
- Partner with leadership to implement HR strategies that drive business goals, improve retention, and enhance employee experience.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to execute HR programs, change management initiatives, and culture-building efforts.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance coaching.
- Act as a trusted resource for employees, offering guidance on workplace issues, career growth, and HR policies.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee experience, engagement, and retention.
- Drive DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) strategies to foster a more inclusive workplace.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Develop and track HR metrics, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Oversee compensation planning, salary reviews, and workforce budgeting.
- Design and manage compensation strategies, pay structures, and total rewards programs.
- Optimize HR systems (including Workday), processes, and automation for more effective HR service delivery.
- Leverage HR analytics to track trends and inform strategic workforce planning.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, at least 3 of which should be HRBP experience supporting a business function in a high-growth, project-based, or matrixed organization.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders, influence business decisions, and drive HR strategies.
- Experience driving inclusive hiring practices and fostering a workplace culture of equity and belonging.
- Strong problem-solving, change management, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and fast-paced environments while maintaining a growth mindset.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Working in an open office environment, on-site 5 days per week
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Workday administration and scaling usage
- Experience in a rapidly scaling, high-growth organization (e.g., startup, project-based, or major event-driven organizations)

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
