Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and self-managed Video Surveillance System Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of CCTV and low-voltage electrical systems. This role requires proven expertise in implementing and maintaining video surveillance solutions that comply with safety standards and function effectively.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (including cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and related equipment).
Work with IP-based camera systems, including basic network setup and configuration.
Pull, terminate, and inspect COAX and CAT5e/6 cabling.
Scope, estimate, and bid on installation and service projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance and functionality.
Provide remote access support and assist clients with software-related configurations.
Maintain a professional and effective communication approach with clients and team members.
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support when required.
Skills and Qualifications
Certification in a relevant field (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in CCTV installations or professional surveillance systems.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including network switches and IP configuration.
Ability to lift equipment (up to 50 lbs) and perform local cabling tasks.
Reliable transportation to travel to client sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
