Do you have a passion for beautiful landscapes? Are you a outgoing people-person interested in using your social skills to build relationships, understand the needs of your customers, and generate new business? LaBahn’s Landscaping is hiring a dynamic sales professional for the Orange County and South Bay regions. As a Business Development Manager, you will play an instrumental role in connecting with current and prospective clients to produce new business opportunities, qualify leads and close sales.
Location: Orange County / South Bay
Responsibilities
· Drive the full sales cycle to attain new business and achieve annual sales goals
· Adeptly identify prospective customers and qualify opportunities
· Build strong, long-lasting relationships with qualified prospective and new clients through consistent communication and in-person meetings
· Actively participate in industry associations, including social events, luncheons and tradeshows
· Produce professionally written proposals with custom landscape solutions
· Attend RFP property walks to gather information necessary for landscape proposals
· Review contracts and scopes of work for each project
· Occasional nights/weekend required for attending association and/or client events
Must Have’s
· Bachelor’s Degree required. Relevant experience will be considered.
· Demonstrated sales achievements in a longer selling cycle
· Previous landscape operations management and/or commercial landscape sales experience preferred but not required
· Effective and persuasive communication skills, both oral and written
· Strong presentation and negotiation skills
· High EQ with the ability to “read the room”
· Highly motivated and responsible with excellent time management skills
· Must be technologically competent with social media and in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint)

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
