We are seeking a skilled Blood Collection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and process billing information and collect payments when required. You will also prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis, maintain patient and specimen information logs, and provide superior customer service to all patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency, previous experience as a phlebotomist, and strong communication skills both written and verbal. You will also need to be able to work independently or in a team environment, comfortable working under minimal supervision, and have reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.
