We are currently seeking a Blood Collection Specialist to work in either a Patient Service Center or client office. In this role, you will provide top-notch customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of our organization. You will also have opportunities for continuous growth within the company.
Work Schedule: Monday and Friday in Louisa 8:00a-5:00p; Tuesday and Thursday in Bowling Green 8:00a-5:00p and rotating Saturdays at a PSC
PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Able to work independently or in a team environment
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
