We are seeking a skilled Clinical Specimen Specialist to join our team at Labcorp. As a key member of our Patient Service Center, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients and preparing them for laboratory analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary techniques to collect blood specimens
- Collect and process specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other types of analyses
- Enter patient information into our database in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Maintain patient and specimen logs to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients
Requirements
- Valid California Phlebotomy License or application pending
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred
- Proven track record in providing excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
