About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Blood Specimen Collector to join our patient service team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing venipuncture and capillary techniques, and collecting specimens for testing and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients of all ages
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
