About the Role
As a Phlebotomist Floater, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens across various locations, including Gurnee, Waukegan, Grayslake, Round Lake Beach, Lake Forest, Deerfield, North Chicago, and Zion. This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Blood Collection: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Data Entry: Enter patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Billing and Payments: Process billing information and collect payments when required.
- Log Maintenance: Maintain patient and specimen logs for accuracy and quality control.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program from an accredited agency.
- At least two years of experience as a phlebotomist with all age patients.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
