We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team in either a Patient Service Center or client office. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service, perform precise specimen collections, and represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
Job Highlights:
- Monday-Friday schedule with 1-hour lunch
- Possibility of participating in the PST Incentive Plan, offering a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
- Casual, PRN & Part Time employees may be eligible for participation in the 401(k) Plan only
Responsibilities:
- Collect blood specimens from patients by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Maintain accurate patient and specimen information logs
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Deliver superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative duties as necessary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
