As a Clinical Specimen Collector, you will play a vital role in our team by ensuring the highest quality of specimen collection, processing, and transportation. Your primary responsibility will be to collect blood specimens from patients, using venipuncture and capillary techniques, for diagnostic testing and research purposes.
Collect blood specimens for various tests, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is preferred. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
