About the Position:
Labcorp is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specimen Collector to join our team. As a Clinical Specimen Collector, you will be responsible for collecting and processing clinical specimens for testing and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Collect blood and other bodily fluids using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
- Enter patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Process billing information and collect payments.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Travel to other locations as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist is required.
- You must have a proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- You must have strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- You must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
- You must be comfortable working under minimal supervision.
- You must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.
- You must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
- You must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
