Salary Incentive: As a Float Phlebotomist, you will receive additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.
Job Description: Our team is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our dynamic workforce. Your primary responsibility will be to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Enter patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
- Billing and Payments: Process billing information and collect payments when required.
- Specimen Preparation: Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Log Maintenance: Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Customer Service: Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
- Travel Requirements: Travel to additional sites when needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification/Training: Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required.
- Licenses and Records: Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Customer Service: Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Supervision Level: Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
- Transportation and Reliability: Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
- Overtime Flexibility: Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Vision Requirements: Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
