We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team as a Float Phlebotomy Technician. This role offers the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience working with various patients, team members, and clinics/locations.
This unique position will allow you to develop your skills and set you up for opportunities and continuous growth within the organization.
The work schedule includes Monday through Friday hours that vary between 5:30am and 5:30pm, with rotating Saturdays.
You will have the chance to travel to additional sites when needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other medical procedures.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist is required.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record are necessary.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
