About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Phlebotomy Career Advancement Opportunity.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations.
You will be responsible for performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting specimens for medical procedures, processing billing information, and maintaining patient and specimen information logs.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently or in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other medical procedures.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required.
A valid driver's license and good driving record are necessary.
Ability to work overtime as needed is a plus.
