About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients of all ages using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Requirements
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
- 1-2 years phlebotomy experience on all ages preferred
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
