What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Labelink?
- Understand production rates and how to apply profit margins
- Gain thorough understanding of the Print Management System (4D LabelTraxx)
- Prepare customer quote documents and review for accuracy and proper grammar
- Research and identify materials and components that fit customer specifications and obtain pricing as well as other options available
- Create purchase orders for materials and other supplies used in the production process
- Communicate delivery expectations to scheduling and other departments
- Work with suppliers when defective material is placed on hold and work towards a positive resolution for the company
- Respond to emails promptly
- Various other estimating/purchasing duties as directed by the Purchasing Manager
- Work schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm & Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
- Pay is based on past estimating experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Able to work independently, with strong attention to detail
- Good attendance record
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new and varied job tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience working in estimating
- Strong multi-tasking skills
