What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineer Land Development position at LaBella Associates?
We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer - Land Development, for our Albany, NY office. This position is available to an entry level engineer with the drive and desire to make an impact in the Albany Community.
The individual will be responsible for leading design, planning, and scheduling. The successful candidate will provide leadership, mentorship, and design assistance to engineering staff for civil engineering and land development related projects.

Duties:
- Assist a Project Manager/Engineer with site design and CAD drafting and modeling.
- Perform site visits and weekly land development inspections.
- Produce effective and high-quality project documents, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Assist with construction administration services.
- Research and interpret municipal code for the development of concept plans and site plans.
- Perform grading analyses and draft grading plans essential to the development of and in coordination with erosion and sediment control plans
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 2-5 years of experience
- Registered as an EIT and on track to become a PE is preferred. *
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Ability to design in a team environment working on multi-disciplinary jobs.
- Effective communication skills using oral, graphic, and written forms.
- Ability to manage workload and budgets as allocated.
- Ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Salary Range: $68,000 to $85,000 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
