What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Driller position at LaBella Associates?
We are currently seeking an experienced Driller to support our environmental and geotechnical drilling programs in Western New York. This full-time position requires experience with soil sampling, installation of various size groundwater monitoring and recovery wells, rock coring, air & mud rotary and geotechnical drilling. Additional responsibilities include routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs of equipment.
Duties
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as lead driller on truck or track-mounted rotary drill rig
• Commercial Driver License (CDL) with clean driving record
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training required
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour construction safety training are preferred but not required
• Ability to weld a plus
• Experience with operation of heavy equipment (e.g., excavator, bulldozer, etc.) a plus
Salary Range: $25.00 - $35.00
