We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team! This role involves collecting blood samples from patients, ensuring proper handling and labeling, and maintaining a safe and comfortable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or capillary techniques
- Properly label, store, and transport specimens to the laboratory
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Provide a compassionate and reassuring experience for patients during procedures
- Assist with clerical tasks and inventory management as needed
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to comfort and assist patients
- Ability to follow strict procedures for sample handling and documentation
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
- Physical stamina for standing and performing repetitive tasks
Qualifications:
