Performing preventive quality tasks to ensure process and product assurance, working with the development, systems, and claims teams to guarantee a smooth launch of new projects or modifications into series production, free of quality issues.

Job Summary:
Performing preventive quality tasks to ensure process and product assurance, working with the development, systems, and claims teams to guarantee a smooth launch of new projects or modifications into series production, free of quality issues.
Job duties:
- Feasibility analysis participation, Budget preparation and technical support to the sales representatives.
- Collaboration and definition of processes and process control.
- APQP definition, work instructions
- Dimensional control of parts and dimensional control reports.
- Collaboration in process optimization and mold adjustments.
- First article reports for customers.
- Coordination with suppliers for outsource activities.
- Conducting daily process checks to ensure production quality.
- Collaborating with process department in the creation of process sheets, procedures, work instructions, and other related documentation
- Conducting internal system audits and follow-up of the corrective actions
- Vocational Education / Technical education, preferably in Technical Engineering or a similar field.
- ISO 9001 is a plus.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Quality tools: PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA.
- Knowledge of metrology: part measurement, geometric tolerances, etc.
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE:
- Language: Spanish is a plus.
- Understanding of project management and dynamics.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 years of experience in quality department.
With this position travel is required. You will be required to travel to Spain for training. A Passport is a MUST.
