Job Description:
Labor Now is seeking a Wire Spooling Laborer for a full-time position in North Lake, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for spooling wire onto reels, ensuring proper measurement and handling, and inspecting the wire for defects. You will also assist with basic equipment operation, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and follow instructions to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wind wire onto reels according to specifications.
- Measure and cut wire to appropriate lengths.
- Inspect wire for defects or issues before and after spooling.
- Assist with operating spooling equipment and machinery.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with basic labor tasks as needed to support production.
Qualifications:
- Previous general labor or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Physically able to lift and move materials as needed.
