Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Booth Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing various parts or products using spray equipment within a paint booth environment. The position requires someone with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities :

Surface Preparation : Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming. Ensure all surfaces are free of dirt, dust, and imperfections before applying paint.
Paint Application : Operate spray guns, airbrushes, and other painting tools to apply paint, coating, and finishes on products, vehicles, or machinery parts.
Quality Control : Inspect finished products for smoothness, coverage, and consistency. Touch up areas as needed and ensure high-quality finishes.
Paint Booth Maintenance : Maintain a clean and safe work environment within the paint booth, including ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
Safety Compliance : Follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, gloves, and safety glasses. Adhere to environmental regulations related to paint usage and waste disposal.
Inventory Management : Keep track of paint materials, coatings, and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and report any shortages to the supervisor.
Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of painting activities, materials used, and work completed. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements :

Experience : Proven experience as a paint booth painter or in a similar role is preferred. Experience with automotive, industrial, or commercial painting is a plus.

Technical Skills : Familiarity with spray painting equipment and techniques. Knowledge of various paints, primers, and coatings.

Attention to Detail : Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and precision in every aspect of the painting process.
