Booth Cleaner

MPS Group, Inc., is seeking multiple Booth Cleaners to join our team at the GM Facility located in Bowling Green, KY. These individuals will be responsible for janitorial activities, lifting, preventative maintenance of cleaning equipment, inspection of waste storage areas and documentation as required. Scheduling subject to union seniority.

Typical Shift Hours: Monday - Sunday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Typical Shift Hours: Monday - Sunday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Typical Shift Hours: Monday - Sunday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.

Responsibilities And Job Duties

• Performs manual scraping/chipping to clean walls, hoses, windows, grates, lights, robots, etc.
• Executes minor maintenance.
• Vacuums and wipe interior and exterior of equipment.
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Performs other specialized paint booth cleaning jobs as required.
• Performs lock out/tag out of equipment for safe entry into energized areas of the paint shop.
• Performs confined space entry procedures for safe entry into confined space areas needing to be cleaned.
• Performs general janitorial functions such as office and restroom cleaning.
  
  

Requirements And Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time and reach within 6" to the ground.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs without difficulty.
• Ability to lift, carrying and pulling equipment of various size, shape, and weight.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and physical.
