Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various industrial machinery and equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing downtime in our manufacturing processes. The Industrial Mechanic will work closely with other maintenance personnel to uphold safety standards and enhance productivity.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct repairs on various equipment.
• Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter to diagnose electrical problems and ensure proper functioning of machinery.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to understand equipment specifications.
• Collaborate with production staff to identify areas for improvement in machine operation.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the industrial environment.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools, including an Ohmmeter, for troubleshooting electrical systems.
• PLC programming- Strong Plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of industrial machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
