The Supplier Quality Specialist manages outsourced projects and implements processes to ensure the quality of products and materials from suppliers. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management and supplier quality assurance in the millwork or construction industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Management - Oversee outsourced projects, ensuring products are delivered on time and to quality standards.
- Quality Assurance - Establish reliable receiving inspection processes, direct the inspection of incoming products and materials, address quality problems by working with suppliers on corrective actions.
- Supplier Management - Implement methods to monitor supplier performance and conduct audits to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
- Documentation - Keep accurate records of supplier performance and quality issues, prepare reports for management.
- Process improvement - Identify ways to improve product quality and efficiency in the supply chain, support the team in improving quality processes.
- Expected travel up to 25%.
