Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing industrial-sized food manufacturing equipment, including slicers, packaging machines, ovens, and other production machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, and troubleshooting automated systems. Pay Range: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on food manufacturing equipment, including slicers, packaging machines, and ovens.
- Troubleshoot and repair logic controllers and other automated systems to ensure smooth operation.
- Conduct inspections of machinery and facilities to identify issues and maintain safety compliance.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Supervise maintenance tasks and assist in equipment upgrades or installations.
- Provide excellent service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from management.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.
Experience & Qualifications
- Prior experience in food manufacturing maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC repairs is essential.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
- Previous experience using CMMS software is preferred but not required.
