Job Description
We’re looking for skilled, detail-oriented Toolmakers to join our team. In this role, you'll design, build, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, molds, and fixtures essential for production operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Hours:
- 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday-Thursday
- Overtime opportunity available on Fridays (not guaranteed)
Responsibilities:
- Repair stamping/processing dies used in the pressroom and manufacturing departments
- Construct small dies as necessary
- Build and maintain jigs, fixtures, and gauges
- Repair and set up wiring applicators
- Build and modify tooling according to engineering prints
- Identify tooling issues, recommend solutions, and report findings to management
- Conduct predictive maintenance, inspecting pressroom dies after production runs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical education training in tool and die necessary
- Minimum of five (5) years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience in a tool & die environment
- Basic knowledge of crane hoist operations
- Knowledge of sheet metal stamping and aluminum extrusion fabrication preferred
- Excellent communication skills and self-motivated
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods
- Mandatory PPE (eye, ear, hand, foot protection)
