What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Care Representative - Clinical Lab - Tampa, FL position at Laboratory of Florida LLC?
As an Account Care Representative for our Medical Laboratory in Tampa, FL, you will play a vital role in retaining clients and strengthening relationships with our accounts, primarily assisted living facilities for the elderly. In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for visiting 15-20 accounts per day to ensure they have the collection supplies, books, and information necessary to service the clinical testing needs of their residents. You will also respond to client calls promptly and act on requests for additional information or help.
We are looking for a candidate who possesses basic knowledge of medical terminology and lab testing, but most importantly, has excellent communication skills, a pleasant demeanor, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and excel in the job. You will spend most of your days driving a company car to see directors of nursing at ALF communities, and occasionally schedule meetings for the VP Marketing as needed. Assisting in all marketing efforts and continuously building relationships with clients are also critical aspects of this role.
To qualify for this position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalency, excellent phone skills in English, and preferably, but not necessarily, in Spanish as some clients prefer to speak Spanish. Additionally, you should have a pleasant personality and compassion for clients' needs.
