Poised for significant growth - LTI is in search of a Key Account Manager in Hatfield, Pennsylvania.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is primarily responsible for managing a growing portfolio of LTI’s existing strategic and core accounts with a focus on customer retention, account growth and continually promoting the wide range of services that LTI offers. KAM’s primarily work via phone, email and occasionally in person to foster strong relationships and propose solutions that meet customer and company objectives.   

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers for assigned accounts.
  • Focus on customer retention and account growth by actively managing assigned book of business and achieving financial targets.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled account maintenance calls and use cross-selling techniques to increase the value of the customer, and/or prevent attrition.
  • Provide customers with industry knowledge and expertise, exceptional customer service and support, and quality services with consistent outcomes
  • Respond to customer order status inquiries and work with departments to ensure that orders are being processed accurately and within customer’s expectations
  • Coordinate and manage the Request for Quotation process with the assistance of internal technical experts.
  • Work collaboratively with customer service and sales team by assisting in the onboarding and servicing of new and non-core accounts.
  • Continually increase professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in trade show events.
  • Understand and comply with LTI’s QA program, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations and utilizes personal protective equipment, as required in designated areas.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university required. 
  • Experience with Business-to-Business account management 
  • Manufacturing industry or job shop experience or technical sales experience a plus
  • Computer skills preferred: (ERP, CRM, Microsoft Office 365)
