Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Human Resources team, the HR Business Partner will provide support to the US Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams by working on the development, implementation, and administration of all aspects of HR. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Business Partner will support employee relations, talent acquisition, HRIS, compensation, and compliance.
About the Role:
- Develop relationships with managers and employees to become the first point of contact for HR related topics, provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and HR processes; manage complex issues, ensure procedures are followed, and keep the lines of communication open between managers and employees.
- Lead the recruitment process for Finance, IT, Marketing, and select sales positions; guide managers and external recruiters through the hiring process, actively use social media to recruit top talent and build pipelines of qualified candidates when needed.
- Remain up to date with latest HR trends, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance, make appropriate recommendations to policies and procedures as required; manage the communication of any required changes.
- Manage the employee exit process, including exit interviews, ensure the termination procedure is properly completed and applicable departments are notified as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, labor relations or related field.
- 8 years’ experience in an HR Generalist role, with previous experience in a matrixed, fast paced environment.
- U.S. employment law and legislation knowledge required, ability to consistently apply practical experience within the business.
- Practical decision-making ability in complex situations; ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in all situations.
- Proven experience in managing complex employee relations with a track record of successful resolutions, understanding of performance management best practices and the ability to guide managers through the process effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Talent acquisition experience including sourcing and interviewing.
- Experience with remote employees and sales teams.
