We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Sales Engineer with a strong background in CNC processes to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record in selling precision-machined parts or machine time . In this role, you will use your technical expertise and relationship-building abilities to grow and maintain our customer base, ensuring the long-term success of our business.

Our client is a global leader in the tire and rubber industry , known for their innovative and sustainable products, including passenger car tires , commercial truck tires , industrial tires , and rubber-based products . They offer career growth opportunities in various fields, including engineering , sales , marketing , and development .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, identifying their service needs.
  • Provide technical information on products, services, and equipment.
  • Develop new business by identifying prospects and planning effective sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop technical solutions and prepare cost estimates.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance customer processes and materials.
  • Process orders and manage engineering changes in coordination with support staff.
  • Offer technical training and ongoing support to customers.
  • Prepare sales reports and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Contribute to the team's success by addressing challenges and driving improvements.

Qualifications :

  • Strong technical background in CNC processes .
  • Experience in selling precision-machined parts or machine time .
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in cost estimation and technical documentation .
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a focus on customer service.
  • Essential Requirements :

  • Solid experience in machining / manufacturing (required).
  • Knowledge of hydraulics (required).
  • Experience in managing existing clients and understanding market trends .
  • Ability to expand business in new markets, such as military / DOD .
  • This is primarily an inside sales position with minimal travel (90% office-based). Travel expenses will be covered.
  • Career Path : The company is looking for someone who is interested in taking on a sales management role in the near future, as the current manager plans to retire within the next two years.
