The Labouré College of Healthcare seeks an experienced, student-centered professional with a record of accomplishment as an educator and administrator who embraces the college’s mission to provide high-quality education to prepare future healthcare professionals.
Reporting to the President and the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs (AVPAA), this position provides the college with broad strategic and day-to-day academic leadership. The AVPAA is a member of the President’s Council and is expected to ensure that the College runs effectively and efficiently by developing, monitoring, and achieving institutional and academic goals. In addition, the AVPAA fosters collaboration among disciplines and departments and works with faculty and academic administrators at College-wide to promote student success and degree completion.

Qualifications
A doctoral degree is preferred, a master’s degree is required, and a substantial record of incremental academic administrative experience in higher education, preferably at an institution that serves a large population of non-traditional students. Expertise in curriculum development, academic outcomes assessment, health professions accreditation, policy development, and implementation is highly desirable. A minimum of six years or more experience related to the profession in higher education, with at least four years in a senior-level leadership role. Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to function in a complex higher education environment will be needed to be successful in this role.
