Extrusion / Process Technician AT Fermilab - Batavia, IL – Contract 12 Month ProjectOur client, Fermi National Lab, is looking for an experienced extrusion / process technician to assist in sample preparation, sample testing & analysis, extraction runs and injection molding of parts. Expected Project Length : 12 months Full-time (40 hours per week) position.Work site Location : Batavia, IL The worksite is a federal facility. Assist in operation of the extrusion line AND quality control of the resultant parts.Assist in operation of injection molding machinery AND quality control of the resulting parts. Detailed report on activities and results from tests & measurements. Minimum Experience Requirements : Three (3) Years of experience in the polymer industryPreferred work experience in one or more of these areas : Profile extrusion, including line operation and die and sizer design fundamentals.Injection molding, including machine operation and mold design.Plastics testing and analysis.Benefits : Competitive pay & One week PTO that will be accrued over the 12 months.
