What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Input Planner position at Labrie Enviroquip?
Labrie is seeking to fill a Data Input Planner for our Lafayette, GA location. This is a full-time onsite position.
Job Duties:
- Develop/create work orders.
- Create and release work orders.
- Tracking all work orders and maintaining accurate records and files of orders.
- Work with manufacturing to get parts complete in a timely manner.
- Monitor and communicate with purchasing on any steel shortages and inventory levels to initiate purchase orders as needed
- Issuing of parts as needed.
- Communicate with Order Tracker with parts that are completed
- Provide quoting for manufactured parts
- Maintain work order area
- Verify Quantities of parts and correct paperwork if necessary
- Delivery parts to their proper location (warehouse location or shipping)
- Responsible for keeping inventory in the location to a minimum at all times.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives
Experience/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED. College preferred.
- Experience / knowledge of steel.
- Previous experience in a planning or scheduling role preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Basic math skills for calculations related to production planning
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
