Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize reporting systems that provide clear, accurate, and actionable insights into business performance across various teams. Ensure that reports are timely, relevant, and easily accessible for all stakeholders.
- Design and deliver compelling data visualizations and dashboards that clearly communicate key metrics, performance indicators, and trends to various stakeholders, including senior leadership. Continuously enhance visualizations to improve user engagement and decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of data, particularly around sales, finance, and accounting, to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement. Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Accounting teams to understand their reporting needs and deliver actionable insights that inform strategies and optimize operations. Act as a trusted advisor to help business partners make informed decisions using data.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by performing regular data audits and quality checks. Implement best practices for data management to ensure the integrity of reporting systems and the overall BI environment.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and visualization.
- Proven track record of building and visualizing reports and dashboards, with an emphasis on actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with querying large datasets to extract, analyze, and manipulate data.
- Strong experience in data preparation, cleaning, and processing to ensure accurate reporting.
- Ability to create and maintain data models, ensuring data structures are optimized for performance and scalability.
- Expertise with industry-standard BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large datasets and uncover meaningful patterns.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, understandable business insights and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
