Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and manage GitHub Co-pilot across development teams.
- Provide training and ongoing support to developers for effective and secure Co-pilot usage.
- Integrate Co-pilot into existing development workflows to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Monitor usage to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and organizational policies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to user challenges.
- Manage access permissions and sensitive data within the GitHub Co-pilot environment.
- Track and analyze usage data to identify trends, productivity gains, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams to align Co-pilot with organizational objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay informed about updates and new features in GitHub Co-pilot to recommend enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience managing GitHub and/or GitHub Co-pilot in a professional environment.
- Familiarity with AI tools for software development and their implementation.
- Strong understanding of GitHub workflows, version control, and repository management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Knowledge of security best practices in software development environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and training skills to support team adoption.
- GitHub Certified Administrator or related certifications (preferred).
- Certifications in AI/ML tools or DevOps methodologies (preferred).
