This role is based out of our corporate headquarters office in Boston. We are a flexible hybrid environment with 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in the office. Please note that we are only accepting candidates that reside in the greater Boston area.
As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager (eCommerce) to lead and drive the strategy, execution, and growth of our core eCommerce offering. As a Senior Product Manager for eCommerce, you’ll own the development and optimization of Labviva’s Purchasing Platform. You’ll work cross-functionally to enhance the marketplace experience, improve buyer and supplier engagement, and ensure seamless integrations with procurement systems. Your goal is to maximize value for all stakeholders while delivering a frictionless and intelligent purchasing experience.
This role requires a data-driven mindset, customer empathy, and a strong understanding of e-commerce and marketplace dynamics. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of life sciences procurement.
How You Will Contribute

Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for Labviva’s eCommerce solution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Enhance the overall site experience including navigation, supplier landing pages, specialized tools, and experiences through cart and checkout.

Conduct customer research to identify pain points and opportunities, ensuring the overall site experience meets the needs of researchers, procurement professionals, and suppliers.

Partner with engineering to write user stories, define product requirements, manage backlogs, and deliver high-quality product enhancements on time.

Communicate product updates and progress effectively to internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, sales, and customer success teams.

Monitor competitor products and industry trends, identifying opportunities for differentiation and innovation in e-commerce.
What You Bring to the Team

5 years of product management experience, preferably in e-commerce or B2B marketplaces

Self-motivated and customer-empathetic problem solver with a proven ability to identify needs and translate them into impactful features.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions and optimize performance.

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Experience working with engineering teams, UX designers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful products.

Passion for innovation in the life sciences, procurement, or B2B marketplace space.

Familiarity with procurement systems (ERP, eProcurement, Punchout, etc.) is a plus.
