The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Hematology, Chemistry, and Immunology testing areas. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory testing, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and managing staff. The supervisor will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care and improve laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervision and Leadership :
Lead and mentor laboratory staff, providing guidance and support in technical procedures and professional development.
- Schedule and assign tasks to laboratory personnel, ensuring optimal workflow and coverage.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Quality Assurance and Compliance :
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CLIA / COLA) and accreditation requirements.
Operational Management :
Perform and oversee daily laboratory operations for blood testing, ensuring timely and accurate testing.
Technical Expertise :
Maintain proficiency in laboratory testing procedures and protocols.
Collaboration and Communication :
