SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable
CBD Sales Associate to join our team at Little Pines, LLC. As a CBD Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our CBD products, and driving sales growth. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Specific duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing timely and effective solutions to their problems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
- Provide product recommendations and guidance to customers, helping them to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and professional manner, escalating issues to management as necessary.
- Troubleshoot POS, reward programs, coupons, and various customer issues.
Sales and Marketing
- Promote and sell our CBD products, meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives, sharing best practices and knowledge to improve overall performance.
- Stay uptodate on industry trends, competitor activity, and new product developments, using this knowledge to inform sales and marketing efforts.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of our CBD products, including their benefits, uses, and potential interactions.
- Stay current on new product releases, product updates, and changes to product formulations or packaging.
- Provide product training and education to customers, helping them to understand the benefits and uses of our CBD products.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback and suggestions on new product ideas and product improvements.
Store Operations
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
- Assist with visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring that products are attractively displayed and easily accessible to customers.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and pointofsale operations.
Administrative Tasks
- Complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks, including sales reports, customer feedback forms, and inventory management records.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions, staying uptodate on company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and customer service, to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a retail store environment and will routinely use computers, registers, scales, carts, and other light equipment used to move and manage inventory, store displays, and product shipments.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Sit, stand, kneel, bend, twist and reach above shoulders.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull items that weigh up to 50 pounds.
- Use fine motor skills and dexterity to grasp, sort, organize, and inventory small items and products.
- Operate a telephone, computer, sort/file paperwork and parts.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a [Full-Time NON-EXEMPT] position with [40] hours per week expected. Coverage of shifts ranging over nights, weekends, and some holidays is expected with the majority of time scheduled during store hours of operation. Must attend all mandatory meetings and participate in training as required.
TRAVEL: Occasional travel is expected for this position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 12 years of sales experience, preferably in the CBD or health and wellness industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with CBD products and the CBD industry (or willingness to learn).
- Must complete Cannabis 101 and Budtending & Retail Work Certification within 60 days of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and pointofsale systems.
- Knowledge of CBD regulations and compliance.
- Certification in CBD sales or a related field (e.g., CBD certification, cannabis industry certification).
