Position Summary: This role is for an Industrial Inside Sales Representative responsible for managing orders, addressing customer requests, and driving sales growth within the assigned territory. The individual will work to foster existing customer relationships and actively seek opportunities to expand business through upselling.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls for an assigned territory.
- Process customer orders and inquiries in a timely manner and accurate manner.
- Align with the company's vision, mission, and strategy, while setting personal performance goals that contribute to team success.
- Leverage technical knowledge and ongoing training to provide exceptional service to customers regarding products and solutions.
- Accurately input data for customer orders and communicate appropriate pricing and lead times.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prospect new business and identify growth opportunities within the territory.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive long-term business.
- Keep account information up-to-date and manage customer data efficiently.
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries
- Keep management informed about challenges and provide updates on customer and territory developments.
- Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings as requested.
- Complete required reporting as needed and required.

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience

- At least 3 years of inside sales experience
- Comfort with making outbound sales calls and engaging with new customers

- Professional demeanor, high energy, and exceptional communication abilities
- Proven success in meeting sales goals and achieving customer growth
- Superior customer service skills, with strong follow-through on inquiries and concerns
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other common computer programs
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Works in an open, office environment with background noise
- Will be sitting a majority of the time
- Ensure appropriate phone coverage at all times during business hours
